The Lady Jets grassroots program has been making waves this season across multiple age groups. Their teams have been taking on all challengers and have entered some highly visible tournaments to help gain experience this summer. Their results have not gone unnoticed and the collective depth from top to bottom features college-level talent. With a recent move over to the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, this group will look to make noise during the July live period.
One of its 17U members, Jayda Holiman, has demonstrated herself to be an instrumental glue-piece on the court for the Lady Jets in the meantime. Despite coming off the bench, Holiman is always ready to positively impact the game for her team. The 2023 guard, who recently transferred to McAlester High School (OK), plays with infectious energy and is able to produce on both ends of the floor in ways that won’t always show up on the stat sheet.
After receiving her first offer from James Madison University in recent months, Holiman is looking to continue playing at high levels that helped her to initially land on the radar of Division 1 schools.
