Easily the best game on Friday’s schedule, premier Eastern Conference foes square off. The Raptors are riding an 8-game win streak dating back to March and have been stifling some of the top teams in the NBA. Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam have been producing at a high level, while compliments Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby have been taking what’s leftover. The Celtics on the other hand are coming off of a 30+ point smashing of the Brooklyn Nets, but consistency has not been great for Boston in the bubble. Part of the blame is with injuries to key players like Marcus Smart and Kemba Walker, but Jayson Tatum posted a 5-point game only 2 outings ago. He has recovered nicely and the rest of the team has been stepping up as well. The Celtics hold a 2-1 series lead and have a plethora of guards to prevent an onslaught from Lowry and Co. Walker has been seeing more and more minutes and is looking more like himself. This team is looking more cohesive by the game ahead of the playoffs and I like them to continue their ways against a familiar rival.
Pick: Boston Celtics +3
